The 5 Star Clam Rake
The Easiest Clam Rake We Have Ever Used!
Narrow, 16ga stainless steel tines slice easily through sand and mud.
Strong One-Piece Stainless Steel Tines
Stainless steel tines are one continuous piece with the basket. Our tines are not welded to the basket. There are no welds to fail. Unlike other clam rake designs, our tines can not break off.
Available in three sizes
- Standard Clam Rake - 9" wide with 1-1/4" tine spacing.
- Jumbo Size Clam Rake - 12" wide with 1-5/16" tine spacing.
- Commercial Size Clam Rake - 18" wide with 1-3/8" tine spacing.
Clam Rakes Ship Unassembled
Our clam rakes ship unassembled. All parts and fasteners are included. 16ga stainless steel tines slide onto threaded structural rods.
Package includes Series 304 Stainless Steel tines, threaded structural rods, washers, and nuts. Rakes come ready to assemble with 1-1/4 inch or 1-3/8 inch tine spacing.
You provide the handle. With shipping costs rising, shipping oversized packages is expensive. There is a considerable cost savings when you provide the handle from your local hardware store. Suitable handles can be made from aluminum pipe or tube, common wooden broom or tool handles, electrical conduit (EMT), etc. More information on selecting the best handle material can be found here.
Assembly takes approximately 20 minutes. Simple assembly instructions included.
About our Clam Rakes
No More Rusty Clam Rakes
All parts made from 304 stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance in salt water.
Strong One-Piece Tines
Stainless steel tines are one continuous piece with the basket. Our tines are not welded to the rake frame so there are no welds to fail. Unlike other clam rake designs, our tines can not break off.
Easier on Your Back and Shoulders
Our narrow, 16ga stainless steel tines slice easily through the sand. Clam longer and go home less fatigued.
Functions as a Mini Clam Dredge
The tine angle and shape were designed so that clams ride up the tines and stay in the basket section of the rake - just like a commercial clam dredge. Simply pull the rake behind you to collect your clams.
Works like a Traditional Clam Rake
If you prefer the traditional scrape and scoop method, our rakes are great for that too.
